At Tramo UK, we are always looking at new opportunities to expand and improve the services that are on offer to our customers.
Therefore, we are excited to announce that we will soon be offering a Bonded Warehouse facility within Tramo UK. We are delighted to confirm that all construction works have now been completed and look forward to beginning to offer the service to our customers soon, pending HMRC approval.
The 20,000ft³ space is fully secured, segregated and under 24/7 dedicated CCTV. It is ideally located near to the loading area and with a wide range of storage and racking options available, the space provides a flexible and convenient solution for all customers who require Bonded Warehouse services.
Why use Bonded Warehouse services though? Following the UK’s decision to leave the EU, goods that are imported have been subject to duties and VAT upon entry to the UK. A Bonded Warehouse allows the storage of goods without payment of said duties and VAT until they are sold and delivered to the final customer. This storage period can be long term, and therefore offers a capacity to hold items “in stock” in the UK for quick despatch and shipment, but not at the detriment of cashflow.
